I have this cam for last 1 year now, this is a very handy and useful for your daily / occasionally capturing memorable moments of your life.
I think if batter time can be enhanced a bit more than it would have the best so far. do shoot in good light because its light is not enough and that is understandable because otherwise it will eat the battery like a monster :)
Do get a good tripod for better results like if you are shooting some seminar or some event.
Picture quality is not that good, but optical zoom .. oh my goodness this is the best thing about this cam :)
Simply, I am loving it .... highly recommended if you are not a professional and looking for one in mid price range
